Something to Think About

The last time I was here, I told you I had found freedom; I should think about what I want to share as a writer. I wanted to share something today. I'm working on my book to publish on Amazon's online platform. I've changed the cover, name and I even altered the story I had previously self-published. The sales were not encouraging, so I was advised to reinvent the whole book. That's a whole other story for another time. That's not what I wanted to share.

In my book, I wrote about bullying, which is something I personally experienced in school. It's a hot topic now. It's everywhere I go on the internet. I wrote about this subject, because it is something that personally concerns me. We have many bullies in our lives. We face them in many ways. Some people believe it's just something you go through at school, and you will get over it. Others might even say, they've never experienced bullying. But I dare you to think a little deeper.

Who is a bully? And who is your bully? The basic idea about a bully is someone who intimidates you and make you uncomfortable about being who you are and living your life. It might even be someone who poses a physical threat to you. But it's more than that too. It's someone who has found a door way into your mind to pound on you, to hurt you, to make you unhappy, to make you uncomfortable. So they don't just affect you physically, they affect you emotionally, psychologically, and even spiritually.

Some bullies tease, others hurt you physically, some intimidate you with threats, other bullies might just be something intimidating to you because of what it represents. But who is the real bully? If someone says or does something mean to you and you don't believe what they say, how can it hurt? It hurts because you have allowed the pain inside yourself. You have believed your bully. You gave them power to affect you, by subconsciously internalizing what they have done to you. You question who you are. It is really you who has given this 'bully' power.

So if you did, you can take it back! You can turn this person, this thing, this fear off. You don't have to believe what they say. You can hang on to your worth. You can believe contrary to them. You can keep your peace. You can let go of what they do to you. You don't have to internalize it and believe that it's because you are worthless and weak and nobody loves you why these things are happening to you. And this is the ONLY way to really fight a bully. If you try to return fire that they have given to you, and you end up physically fighting or hurting them, you are no different. You have actually let them in, if you hadn't why would you fight them? You fight them, because you feel they are hurting you and you want it to stop.

The only true way to 'fight' any bully, is to look at them for what they are and laugh in their faces. You don't have to laugh out loud, you just have to know who you are and believe you are priceless and not internalize what they do or say to you. Build a wall in your mind, shut them out. Don't ask why they are doing what they are doing  to you, or ask if it's something about you why they are doing these things to you. Don't do that. Stand, believe in this truth that all people are equal in the eyes of God as living beings. Your life is just as important as any life, because you are a living being. And walk in that truth.

The homosexual community might believe that Christians are bullies and other people who don't believe in their life style are bullies, but I think they should reconsider their approach. If they feel as though they are being attacked because of their lifestyle and so now are lobbying for equal rights to do what they want, they need to consider why they are doing all this. Is it because deep down they may feel ashamed of their lifestyle and are seeking approval? Is it because they may  have been told some mean things in the past and they are trying to retaliate as a result? Is it really freedom they are seeking?

Because from my perspective, they are bullies themselves. They are using the law to terrorize people who don't believe in their lifestyle. That's how Christians see them now, as bullies. There are people being dragged to court because they refuse to sign marriage license for homosexuals, just because of their Christian principles. There are others being sued for similar reasons. It's all over the news. The approach just comes across that way. I'm not saying they intend to be bullies, although some of their actions seem that way. I'm saying it looks that way.

But as Christians, I dare us to think about the real bully. It's not the homosexuals. It's not the law, it's not even people. It's an enemy older than any on earth. The worse enemy anyone can have. An enemy we can't see. The real bully is the devil himself. He's the perfect bully because a lot of people don't even believe he exists, because they don't believe God exists. So that gives him freedom to rove and create as much mischief as he desires, to turn people against others,  to turn systems against people and even  to turn us against ourselves. The perfect bully is the devil.

He is the real bully, because he knows his end and he sees the hope we have been given in Christ and so he will do anything to destroy it. He will do anything to destroy us. To anyone out there who knows bullying, who has felt the raw blow of bullying, who feels life is not worth living, who thinks the worst of yourself because of what someone has done or said to you, wake up. Your bully is not the person in front of you. It is the one who wants to destroy your life, because he is envious of it. Take hold of life and hang on to it. It is a precious gift no amount of money can buy.

As for our homosexual friends, this is my advice to you. If you need approval from others to do something with your freedom of choice that God gave to you, (not the government, God, because every human being on this planet has choice, even if they are slaves, nobody gave us that, we were born with it), then you need to seriously consider why you are doing what you are doing.

Make up your own mind, if this is what you want, if this lifestyle is what is best for you, if you think you can't live any other way, then choose to live. I wake up everyday and face ridicule for all sorts of reasons, including being a Christian and I live in a country that embraces Christianity! I don't go around feeling ashamed. I've made up my mind about this life. I have chosen something, and despite what others think, this is now who I am. I'm not ashamed of it. I think this is the way to go. You have to consider the fact that it is not sane to please people. People will tell you don't do something and then when you choose not to do it, the same people will ridicule you about not doing something and they were the same people who told you not to do it!

Make up your mind. God will never approve of any human being destroying themselves and another because of what they choose to do with their lives. He won't change his mind, even if the churches accept this way of life as normal, God won't accept it. He will accept you, but not with that lifestyle. So no amount of laws being changed and no amount of changing the minds of the churches will alter that fact.

So make up your mind. God doesn't hate people, he hates things that destroy people. That's why God hates what is known as sin. Sin destroys people. Sin is a nature of selfishness. A nature that makes it difficult for us to love another human being as ourselves. A nature that allows someone to seek their own pleasure at the cost of other people's safety. A nature that tells us it is ok to strap a bomb to yourself and blow up people. A nature that tells you to go into someone's home while they are sleeping and take what they have. A nature that that allows a human to pin another human down and rape them, regardless of gender. A nature that makes it hard to forgive someone. A nature that allows you to tell lies on innocent people. A nature that allows you to drink to your death and others. God hates anything that destroys anyone. He hates it, not the person. And if God hates homosexuality, then it means he believes it destroys people.

Think about a man saying he loves another man romantically. He loves him so much, he wants to marry him. He gets the go ahead from the government to. This man gets pleasure from this other man by penetrating his rectum. The rectum was never designed to receive anything. Do you know the irreparable damage that is caused to that person's system after doing that even once? But he loves this man. Two women say they love each other so much they want to get married. They do and no matter what, they will never be able to help each other to reach their full potential as a human being. Why would you want to hold someone back if you love them, you will want what is best for them. We are co-creators with God. We can make another life. In either scenarios, our full life will never be realized in such relationships.  Why would God be happy with that?

I wonder if people think God is envious of them. I wonder if people believe God wants us to be miserable. If you believe that, you will never be able to understand him. Just for a moment, consider why God might not like something. Just put yourself in his place. Think about something you have made. Would you want anyone to destroy it, if you thought this thing you've made was good? If you wouldn't, why would God want that? That's why the devil is our real enemy and God's enemy. And one of the greatest wrong that the devil has done is to make us believe God is our bully, our enemy.

For Fun and Health

Everyone, these days, is afraid of getting a huge gut. 😊 And of course we all understand why, right? Well, huge stomachs, unless you are pregnant, are associated with poor health, right? Sometimes when I'm walking on the road, and I see people with huge stomachs, I wonder how they got those really, big bellies.  I have heard that drinking a lot of beer regularly can cause you to get a big belly. I have heard eating late at nights, and then going to sleep does the same thing. Even lack of activity is said to be a culprit. And maybe these are all legitimate causes. But recently, I discovered another culprit for a big gut. I bet you will never guess what. Seriously, you would never think about this one. Let me give you some time to wrack your brain 😁😁😁😁😁😁. Here it is.....your belly is full of sh_t. Yep. It appears that if you haven't done a detox, especially a colon cleanse in a while, your intestine is packed, and loaded with all that excess baggage.  If you have a tummy,...

You are Special

What makes something valuable? Scarcity. Why? Because if something is not easily found anywhere, it is rare and therefore worth more than what is commonly or easily found. It’s just like diamonds or a rare coin, because it is hard to find, it is valued. Things are even more valuable when they are one of a kind . Now suppose you made something very unique, so unique, there was no other thing like it. And suppose you loved it very much, because it was beautiful or very useful. Would you throw it away? Would you allow this thing that is the only one  of its kind to disappear forever? Would you not try to save it? Would you not try to keep it from being lost? Wouldn’t you protect it? You are valuable. You are one of a kind . You are so unique, the re is no other like you in any form, anywhere . Your DNA is original; not a copy of anyone else. And your designer, God, does not like copies and that’s why you are not a copy. And this is why you are valuable to him , and h...
