A Thousand Words

It's funny how we talk alot everyday without realizing how many words we use, and then someone can say even more than we ever could with one picture. Soak up the following pictures and guess what I'm trying to say.

The beautiful thing about descriptive writing is that it tries to capture in words, what we could experience at a glance, or in one moment. and that's why it helps to be very descriptive or rather, relate as many information that deals with the senses, so that the reader can partake of the experience or person or thing or place or event you are trying to describe.

So next time you go outside, look around you and take a deep breath and then listen, inhale, feel, and engage as many senses as possible. Who knows, maybe you will learn something new about your surrounding and yourself.

Look out for descriptive lesson three, it deals with figurative devices and after lesson four; techniques for composing description, we will start practicing to write descriptively.

For Fun and Health

Everyone, these days, is afraid of getting a huge gut. 😊 And of course we all understand why, right? Well, huge stomachs, unless you are pregnant, are associated with poor health, right? I have heard eating late at nights, and then going to sleep does the same thing. Even lack of activity is said to be a culprit. And maybe these are all legitimate causes. But recently, I discovered another culprit for a big gut. I bet you will never guess what. Seriously, you would never think about this one. Let me give you some time to wrack your brain 😁😁😁😁😁😁. Here it is.....your belly is full of sh_t. Yep. It appears that if you haven't done a detox, especially a colon cleanse in a while, your intestine is packed, and loaded with all that excess baggage.  If you have a tummy,...

You are Special

What makes something valuable? Scarcity. Why? Because if something is not easily found anywhere, it is rare and therefore worth more than what is commonly or easily found. It’s just like diamonds or a rare coin, because it is hard to find, it is valued. Things are even more valuable when they are one of a kind . Now suppose you made something very unique, so unique, there was no other thing like it. And suppose you loved it very much, because it was beautiful or very useful. Would you throw it away? Would you allow this thing that is the only one  of its kind to disappear forever? Would you not try to save it? Would you not try to keep it from being lost? Wouldn’t you protect it? You are valuable. You are one of a kind . You are so unique, the re is no other like you in any form, anywhere . Your DNA is original; not a copy of anyone else. And your designer, God, does not like copies and that’s why you are not a copy. And this is why you are valuable to him , and h...
